COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Mike Davis ran 75 yards for a touchdown, Connor Shaw and Dylan Thompson each threw long scoring passes and All-American Jadeveon Clowney helped No. 6 South Carolina's defense hold North Carolina to its lowest point total under coach Larry Fedora in a 27-10 victory Thursday night.

I've been repping South Carolina for a while now, but I'm sorry, this article is complete BS. Clowney did JACK SHITE tonight.

Wow

Correct. UNCs game plan took Clowney completely out of the game. Not surprising they are making it sound like he made an impact.

Clowney was after Bryn all night, and caused him to play like crap. We only had to rush 4 the whole game and we dominated them. They cut blocked him, chipped him, and double teamed him all night. He took their comfort zone away from them. He did great. Who asked you to rep USC? please switch back to Arky.

Wrong. UNC had to do everything to keep him off their QB, so they couldn't do anything else. South Carolina has a good defense, and he's a big reason why.

I know Clowney is a good player and I'm not gonna sit here and say he's not; however, don't you think the media has just tried their best to create a heisman type candidate to go against manziel? There haven't been as many electrifying players the last couple years and they're using clowney to help with that. If he doesn't make that hit against Michigan we're not even talking about the guy. He was.a non factor against LSU and several other games I watched last year Nd again last night. I found it funny they used and LSU clip during pregame to pump him up because he did nothing that night. They're are a lot of talented ends in the SEC and I actually thought nkemdiche looked better last night at least.

Every time I saw Clowney last night, he was standing around doing nothing. If the play was to the opposite side of the field he just stood there watching from a distance. Looks like all the hype has gone to his head.

Case in point:

quote:

"Hats off to my defense,'' Clowney said.

'His' defense. He's turning into a prima donna.
