Vandy won in Oxford last year without that RB, who got injured on the 3rd play of the game.

Yeah, but Vanderbilt only averaged 2.9 ypc. Considering that Ole Miss' entire secondary is back and should be less prone to collapse, and you're replacing your starting QB and possibly missing your 2nd WR, I doubt the passing game will be as effective.

And y'all had something like 90 rushing yards total that game. Tate goes out, and y'all leaned hard on your defense and quarterback. It paid off.

You don't have that QB to lean on anymore. It's a legit argument.
