College towns are good when you're in undergrad. But after you're about 21 or 22 they are just way too boring. I'd shoot myself if I had to live in a place like Tuscaloosa or Auburn now.

Must be an age thing. At 40, the dream of being able to retire in T-town and watch Alabama play football and baseball sounds cool.
