Alabama-Oregon?
Any time Oregon goes up against a defense with a pulse (Stanford last year) they look bad. 2011 vs. LSU was way worse than the score showed (when you score two 4th quarter touchdowns to cut the deficit to 13, that's not good).
You could be looking at another shellacking like last year's BCSNCG against ND.

I happen to think the opposite. 2 gift turnovers made it look worse than it was IMO. I thought LSU was better, but not 20 points better. Also, Oregon has apparently been working on shoring up the lines (remains to be seen), so that could make the matchup more intriguing.
I liked a lot of them for different reasons. I didn't understand why they think UF/Mich should play all the time (am I missing something), but I wouldn't mind the matchup. Liked both OSU matchups, and think Texas/FSU could be a good brand name matchup

Oregon made a ton of idiotic mistakes and failed to execute. One missed block changes a 77yard run to a TD, one dropped pick 6 seals the deal, one fg that shanks off the bar ends the game, etc.
It was a trap game, and Oregon fell for it. I dont think anyone took Stanford seriously after the back to back shellackings we had given them in '10 and '11. Hell they led the entire second half, I dont think anyone actually believed they would lose the game while it was going on. Watching it, I felt like the game was too close, but I never once felt like Stanford would win. We were up the entire second half.
Oregon v. Alabama last year would have been a great game. 2011 Oregon was not worthy to be on the same field as LSU or Alabama. That was a "down" season between 2010 and 2011. Our secondary and run defense was terrible.
