Fewest rushing yards against USC:

Gurly
Marshal
Gurshall
AJ Blue
Out of those 3, who will have the fewest rushing yards against USC in the first 2 games?
Some evidence to look at before you make your decision includes:
Last year Gurly rushed for a horrid 39 yards on 13 carries against USC. His longest run was 15 yards and he was tackled the majority of the time in the backfield.
However, he might really like being in the backfield, so who knows, that could just be his preference if he's going to get manhandled.
Marshal didn't fair that much better against the Cocks. The Cocks put up a stiff defensive front and allowed him 37 yards on 12 carries.
There was a lot of talk about a Gurshall guy as well for ug last year, but I don't think he made the trip to Columbia, and I don't think anyone saw him at that game.
AJ Blue will be making his first start for unc. He's a bigger back, who lost weight over the offseason to help his speed. He avg'd over 5 yards a carry on 83 carries last year, but that was against acc teams, so that doesn't count.
Now you have some facts, so who do you pick?

Aaron Murray... negative yards count, right?
ETA: Of those three... Blue. Georgia has a better Oline. So his 15 yards will not match Gurley's 24 or Marshall's 16.

I meant specifically just for RB's or figments of imagination.

You would think Blue by looking at the OL's, I agree, however, he will get the majority of the snaps for unc though. unc does have a scat back, but they primarily use that guy for check down passes.

I dare not choose either, else I feel as if I'd be tempting the football gods of fate.
Shaq Wilson had a great deal to do with shutting down UGA's running game last season. He was in a groove checking down against Murray with the right calls on D.

Which is why I think we will be able to do it again, now that he is a graduate assistant helping out the LB core.
