It could just be folliculitis- completely harmless, just put some neosporin on it. I get them occasionally down there and I know for a fact I don't have an STD

If not genital warts, it's most likely Molluscum Contagiosum, a common virus spread thru direct contact with other individuals or dirty hottub water.
Molluscum is also considered an STD since it involves direct contact with other humans and generally appears in the genital and/or buttocks area.
