Mods, would like to hear your honest opinions on how this scenario is happening below:
A coach is three years into his tenure at a program. He was 9-4 last year and went 7-5 this year (so far), losing 5 of his last 7 games barely beating ULM, has regressed every year on the job, has an offense that was not good against any decent defense, has one of the worst defenses in the country (ranked (103), fired the defensive coordinator with fan base wanting more fired, lost their best offensive recruiter and and has looked terrible at home. If you sat down before the year and wrote down all the things A&M would have to do this year to lose momentum and take a hit on recruiting, they accomplished everything on the list and more.. Yet, they have #6 class now and a good chance to sign 3 top 200 recruits in the nation this week. With everything that has transpired this year over there, it seems like this would be a dream come true for all other teams in Texas for recruiting and they have zero things going well right now....period, except for recruiting?? How is this possible? Love to hear serious thoughts...
