I pointed out in another thread that yes, this is a bad injury. BUT, we all know how attitude comes into play. Barrett Jones, the Rams rookie center, played most of last season at Alabama with this same injury. He had surgery 2 days after the BCSCG. Then rehabbed like crazy and is ready for practice ahead of schedule with the Rams. If Mizzou was expecting greater toughness than Gill was prepared for, this is for the best.

I think it was Gill that wanted to be more aggressive than the MU training staff.

I missed that - I thought it was just him being critical. The staff was calling it a minor injury, no big deal - then the next day he leaves the team? The whole thing is just bizarre.
