Not true.
That said, I think the NCAA is going to be a bit more careful than usual here because of who the player is and because of all the amped up heat they're already taking about amateurism here lately (the Ed O'Bannon suit, for instance).

Instead of finishing his career strong and going down as one of the most heralded athletes in Texas history, he's going to be a pariah that is loathed the state over. He went from never having to buy another beer for himself for the rest of his life to having beer bottles thrown at him and his Benzy keyed at every oppty.
