There will be no bidding war, because Nick Saban is not coaching for money - he's coaching for legacy. That's a fact. And that should scare the shite out of every fan base in the SEC.

He already turned down Notre Dame. Seriously, if a school is big and has an opening, that fan base automatically thinks it can get Saban.

I'm a Bama fan, but I realize that if LSU had been open when he wanted to return, he would've tried to go there but they were happy with Miles. Alabama was looking, and here he is.

Texas had a shot back in 2006-2007, but not now. He has more money than he'll ever spend, loads of talent, and he's proven he can win titles just about anywhere. Considering this is a man that loves discipline and challenges, why switch to easy mode? Texas is nothing in CFB these days. They haven't been since Alabama beat them for the 2009 title.

What better legacy could he leave than winning national titles at three different schools?

His ego is big enough to want that. Perhaps you should consider that?
