Of course they have more money, but do you really think they are going to be willing to offer Saban the type of money it'll take to out bid Bama? It'll take somewhere in the $20 mil a year range to outbid us. Do you seriously think they'll be willing to go that far?

I don't, I think this is all silliness. He decided the NFL is not for him. How much money does he need? He has UA set up now, and with the first major division playoff coming soon his odds at UA are pretty good.

if you think your athletic department can even pony up 15 million per year to keep saban. Athletic departments can't suddenly adjust a coach's salary 10+ million dollars and not be in a hole. Certainly Alabama has a rabid fanbase that can raise as much as anyone in the SEC but no freaking way you can go over 10 million per year. Hell no one can except maybe Texas, maybe.
