I don't think they plan on having lights on that side of the field anymore

They are putting lights on top of the west side suites.

Faurot has always been dark look at the picture below, and see for yourself. Both end zones are dark, and the west side already had a shadow. The extra bank of lights in the middle on the east side should make the west side less dark. I believe that's why we have one bank of lights on north end zone, south end zone, and two in the middle

It doesn't show that in the picture, I thought maybe they were being cheap, and recycling lights

I think all the non-Mizzou fans need to understand where Mizzou is coming from...

quote:

For 2013-14, Mizzou projects a budget of between $73-75 million and close to $70 million in revenue, executive associate athletics director Tim Hickman said. Both would be record figures for a department that worked with a budget of $13.7 million when Alden became athletics director 15 years ago.

Hickman attributed the increases to enhanced league revenue, increased football ticket sales and private donations.

On Friday, the SEC announced it will distribute $289.4 million in league revenue for the 2012-13 fiscal year, with Missouri getting a full share of $20.7 million. That’s more than double the revenue MU earned from the Big 12 just three years ago. MU’s 2010 share was approximately $9 million, Hickman said.

In 2011, the last year MU received Big 12 revenue, the school earned $11 million.

After leaving the Big 12 for the SEC, Missouri did not receive a league payout last year. Instead, the Big 12 withheld $12.41 million from MU, which the university absorbed. The athletics department will repay the university over the next several years, Hickman said.

The Big 12 was a POS. Glad you guys got out of there. The awesome part of that is Mizzou went to the SECCG with an athletic department in the red. I'm in awe of that.

Saw a pick of Kyle field and the east first deck has started into a SE turn. I'd show it but I'm on an iPad.

I'm kind of taken aback, probably more so than when our horseshoe was taken down in lieu of the Zone. To see the Southern structure go up so fast and seeing the new reality is something for this Old Ag.

[Not that any of you are actually looking at these pictures] ... But I'm a tad disappointed that no one noticed the hawk photobombing this image:

As some others have said on another board, "Damn. Even the bats are gettin' an upgrade!"
