My $0.02 on the matter:

This is an awful, shortsighted idea that will only end badly. 9 times out of 10, they have no business on our board and we have no business on theirs. Especially once the season starts, and through National Sighning Day. I'm okay with the non-Auburn posters that have access to this board (just as I have access to a few others as well), but I don't believe the positives outweigh the negatives in this case, as heated of a rivalry as the Iron Bowl is.

Now, I did say 9/10. There are a few guys that, if they want access, I don't have a problem with allowing them in. Magilla, NATidefan, Santa, and Kaptain are all good in my book, and through my experiences with them, I trust them enough to take off certain houndztooth-colored glasses while posting here. The rest of them, for one reason or another, I'd rather not. Some of them I know and definitely don't want here (a certain few because of how they acted back during the ATPB saga, for those that remember it), others I haven't had enough interaction with to gain my trust.

Again, if it was up to me, I'd like to keep it closed. But the posters I listed above have enough of my trust that if they want in, I'll vouch for them and be okay with it.

Just my opinion, though.
