To answer your question, too many to count, as well as south.
Eta - "smelly" sometimes, particularly in Fall & Winter when wind was coming from the north, but I was taught from a very early age that it "smelled like $$$$."

Have a ton of memories growing up there. Graduated in '88 and after college left and never looked back, ended up in El Dorado. I go back every now and again to visit, can't believe how much the area has regressed and ironically progressed. What year did you graduate?
