Can anything be done with a Longhorn fan representing TAMU?

I don't know if you guys noticed KaiserSoze99, but he is trying his best to disparage Texas A&M. After seeing his posts, I had to read much of his history. It's making us look bad to the entire SEC rant and including props to TU along the way. It's also often and persistent. Just wondering if anything can be done about this.

It's a bad strategy to take aim at posters your second day on the rant. Almost everyone thinks you're an alter anyway, targeting people so soon isn't helping you're case.

I know I'm new, but isn't this board for Texas A&M fans to discuss among Texas A&M fans? Are you really Aggies pretending to be other fans? I apologize for my ignorance on this topic. I look forward to understanding this site a bit more.

Going with the theory you are new and not just trolling as an alter perhaps the best way to understand the rant is to lurk for 6 months to a year as many did before they started posting to get a feel for what the board was all about.

The SEC is not like the Big 12. TAMU has friends among other schools fans and it is not unusual for others schools fans to be user friendly with TAMU. Many TAMU folks on the Rant have already been accepted on other teams boards. This is still a new process for TAMU and Mizzou as they are the new kids on the block and the longer everybody is exposed to each other the better the understanding between schools will be.

Lecturing you about misrepresentation? You're the one that made this thread with some claim calling out another poster for no reason. You need to chill out. How old are you?

this is pretty standard on the Rant. Many people change their favorite team icon for a variety of reasons. Tbird and FaWx and Nguyening are Ags that have done this so you are actually talking to a bunch of Ags. Also, you can click on the name at the top of any post and see which post you are replying to. When you just select the last post, the discussion becomes confusing as people think you are replying to them (which happened in your 2nd post in this thread)
And guys, cut Gandhi some slack, he's class of '89. The world has changed. We old ags are a simple people and the Rant frightens and confuses us.

Imma shoot straight with you on this board. I'm an Aggie Former Student, class of 2010, on active duty with the air force in Missouri (hence the logo by my name--for the time being anyway).
Favorite team doesn't mean as much around here.

FWIW, If you see posters with chances are good they are Mods, LSU fans, or some military affiliation so try not to go too overboard when thinking they are not pro TAMU when in reality they are.

Guys - thanks for the explanations. It's all good. I just couldn't understand why Ags would be on the rant posting as other team's fans. Perhaps it is my old mentality. It certainly further explains all the suspicion of each other and on a new guy who calls himself Gandhi.

frankly the Mods might as well use LSU icons. I like the site but one thing that annoys me is how much more leeway LSU posters get than others, how quick they are to delete negative posts directed at LSU, and how quickly posters get banned for trolling LSU. This sort of favoritism holds back this site imo.
I think that's is fine for TigerRant and their recruiting board. But they need a different set of mods for the SECR if they want it to truly represent the SEC. And I think doing that would make it grow more as well.
