Just a couple of thoughts.

First, I think we're feeling the pain of having gone all in on DGB. We hardly recruited WR's in his class and it would be his class that would be juniors and seniors next year and the year and the year after if they had red shirted. The pain is all the more deep because there is no DGB this year.

Second, there have been over 150 offers extended for maybe 20 spots. By just the numbers, we're not going to hit on almost 90% of the offers. As for the JUCO WR, I would have liked to see someone with more experience/maturity, but we do have anywhere from 2 to 5 WR's in this class, depending on where these guys ultimately play.

Final thought, I'd rather see Zanders move to WR than land a JUCO player at this point. He's had a year in the system. Is a Missouri guy already. And is probably as electric as anyone we could get in the JUCO ranks.

I agree he could be a good WR, but from what I have read on PM, it's Hosick all over again. He wants to play QB and doesn't want to move positions. We still have time in this class, but I think you will see Mizzou try and pick up a JUCO WR. I can't think of any team who will lose the amount of production and depth at WR like we will that has been successful the following year. We've had too many misses at WR and DE the last few classes and it's finally catching up with us.
