There's a difference between seeing it possible that Mizzou could lose to Kentucky (my point of view) versus saying it's PROBABLE that Mizzou loses to Kentucky (your point of view)

No, I get that part

My observation is not based on Mizzou or UK specifically but more that it takes 5 - 10 years for a school to adjust to the SEC in pretty much all sports. Ask the Hog and Cock fans on here how those first years went as the new kid on the block. Just like the "old man football" comment last year and the wake up call that followed. Better to fly under the radar like the Cocks did when they joined than to eat crow early on like the Hog fans did.

Me saying you will go 0-8 makes you feel better if you actually go 2-6 but at least you are prepared for the worst. If I said you would go 4-4 and then you go 0-8 your hopes are crushed even worse because you were drinking the Mizzou koolaid and were not prepared for the downside.

Hey, I don't disagree. I didn't make the "old man football" comment so I'm not obligated to take responsibility for that. The season blew up on us, I don't deny it. But I'm also not gonna sit here and act like we're going to finish last in the SEC. Could we? Yeah. But chances are we won't. As "bad" as Mizzou is, there are several worse programs in this league.

Somehow, I knew you'd retort with something along the lines of this.
