When the hell have I said anything about your secondary? If you want to pick a fight with someone about MSU's secondary, quote the person who actually said it.
I meant that to address the hypocrisy in the predictions of how/why the game will go a certain way in this thread. Did not mean to imply that my response was for you personally.
MSU's terrible defense last season which saw us run off 2 of 4 defensive coaches would have still been the 2nd or 3rd best that OK State saw all season. No one finds that intriguing but me?

Davis started 2 games last year
Koenig was hurt all last year- did start some games a Fresh
Webb started 5 games
Graham owns 1/3 of their starts
Their starting 5 has 36 starts COMBINED- State's OL returns 108 starts
But Engie makes everything up right?

A line with 36 starts facing off with Quay, Nick, and Denico doesn't bode well for them
Sometimes new starters are better than the players they are replacing. If you assume that previous starts are all that matter, then MSU doesn't necessarily stack up better than OSU, because Autry is the only one of the three MSU DL that started any games last year. Evans played in 10 games, and James played in 8. But I expect y'all will get a lot out of both of them next year. I don't see any reason to think that MSU's defensive line couldn't control the line of scrimmage.

how so? Our DL returns more starts with 4 guys than theirs with 5 guys? Eulls and Autry have 36 starts between the two of them

I agree.

You missed the point of my post. Prior starts, alone, aren't more significant than the actual personnel. That's why I went on to compliment the potential of MSU's defensive line.
ETA: Eulls wasn't mentioned in the post that I was responding to.

Yet writing a few paragraphs with links to nothing is "proof"... Your opinion is hilarious in it's own ineptitude.
That's so typical of you to think putting up links to random BS makes you know something.
Your mistake is assuming that a person who doesn't put up links hasn't done their research.
Try again another day, engie. You just might impress somebody else with your links and stats, but it won't be me.

They had a better run defense than MSU last year, in both ypg and ypc.
Why would anyone bother running the ball against a #113 pass defense?

You do realize that stat will have nothing to do with us rushing for 200 yards plus in two months right?

I think MSU will get caught looking ahead to the Alcorn State game. The Alcorn game will be huge for our recruiting in the state. Expect Mullen to refer to them in the future as tsds(that school down south) and our AD to put up billboards in Lorman claiming it as "OUR STATE".

If you are disappointed now, how did you get by in the 80's, 70's, 60's.... etc.
Just seem like a troll to me.

What does it have to do with anything? They were a hurry up spread team. Of course they defended more total snaps than MSU did thus why the number is skewed.
They defended 544 pass attempts. The 3rd most in all of FBS. Suffice to say -- teams were confident that they could shred them through the air.
