So which Ole Miss poster is this?

I felt bad for him last year after the LSU fumble. Probably wouldn't have been in that situation to begin with had State not tried Tyler Russell QB draws against the second best D in College football..

I expect the defense to have their hands on their hips trying to catch their breathe in the 1st quarter just like they did last year against A&M.
This was my biggest problem last year. The defense was accused of giving up all year. All we hear about is how awesome Balis is. I agree that he is good at building football bodies, but he sucked last year at conditioning. It was painfully obvious in the first quarter almost every game that the other team was in better shape than we were.

but I don't see MSU being able to keep up with them.
We rush for over 200 yards in this game. State wins 38-28

Davis started 2 games last year
Koenig was hurt all last year- did start some games a Fresh
Webb started 5 games
Graham owns 1/3 of their starts
Their starting 5 has 36 starts COMBINED- State's OL returns 108 starts

Was it the 1st post, the Dan Mullen obsession, the referencing of Mack Brown and flipped recruits or something else that gave it away?

to have only 36 combined starts on an OL with all starters having at least three years (most with four or more) in the program is pretty impressive... sounds like they've done a good job of developing quality depth.
have no idea what this means for the game on Aug 31st, but oSu's offense has been ridiculous lately.

of course not, but neither was Northwestern... another pass-happy team with a mediocre defense.
Northwestern was 29th in the country in scoring D and was 2-0 vs the SEC. Beat a 9 win Vandy and an 8 win State
I don't think Ok State's inexperienced OL is a good match-up for State's DL

That's just engie being engie.
He's been spouting that same lie on several message boards. Every source I've seen has them returning three starters on the OL. Just a little checking would verify that they are not replacing 4 starting OL and shifting another as engie claims.
However, be prepared for him to throw up a deluge of stats and other BS to "prove" his point.
That's just what he does.
Engie is correct actually
2 of their guys considered "starters" only started 7 combined games last year. Their LT has moved to RG.
Their RT didnt start one game last season- but did some as a Freshman
aGAIN- only 36 combined starts between 5 players- with 1/3 of them coming from 1 guy

And as usual -- I readily prove my opinion with links and statistics -- while you are crying and giving an opinion based on "every source you've heard".
Look up one post and remind me where exactly I hurt your feelings, troll alter.

I don't really agree with MSUDawg4Life, but I don't think he is out of line at all in his predictions.

Their entire starting OL has fewer combined starts than Gabe Jackson has by himself.

A line with 36 starts facing off with Quay, Nick, and Denico doesn't bode well for them imo. I'm tired of people just assuming this is gonna be an easy game for them. Chris Wilson is gone. We will run the ball a lot. It will be a good game.

What prediction has he made here -- outside of attacking mine?
