I live in the area and have Mississippi State talks with local people daily. I would like to be able to comment and ask questions on the GrindRant.
Today's comment is: I saw Tyler Russell today. Talked for a few minutes. Said he was ready for September to get here and to get started. He said he thinks yall will have a solid team and he was excited about the running game. He glanced at my Ole Miss and I just laughed. I told him I didn't hate state and that I was rooting for them and him. Then before I left, I told him good luck this year except that one Thursday in November. He laughed and said thanks.

I'm not an alter of any sort. Never been banned and this is my only user name.
I don't hate State. I'm married to a state grad and I cheer for them the majority of the time. A good Mississippi State team vs a good Ole Miss team makes for a very intense Egg Bowl and I'm all for that. I want Ole Miss to win every single time but i still like for there to be some drama involved.
As for rooting for him. He's a Mississippi kid and I want all Mississippi kids to succeed in the long run. I think he'll be a great backup qb in the pros. If he has time and can set his feet, he can be really good. I hope he makes it regardless of my team affiliation

Nah bro, I'm perfectly happy with my State wife. She's very successful and more 'Ole Miss' than she likes to admit.
