I got busted after leaving my friends house after the Georgia vs Georgia tech game 3 years ago. I had been drinking allday and left his house all day. I pass a cop about half way home and he followed me 9 miles and as I cut my blinker on and turned into my yard he pulled into my yard and cut his lights on.I blew a .08 in my front yard and went to jail for 10 hours, lost my license for 1 year, had to do 80 hours of community service, and had to go to dui school! Its sucked!!!

I've had several "run-ins" with the law. That may be an understatement. The best one is too long to type, so I won't tell that story.

When I was 18, I was at a fraternity party in Auburn. I had been there about 30 minutes when a buddy came up to me and asked if I would take him to Taco Hell. I obliged. He was 18 and had only had one beer or so. I had exactly one and a half nasty lights. Then a third buddy, who was so drunk he could barely stand, decided to jump in the car with us. (No problem) we mad our way down to Taco Hell and found a rather long line in the drive through. As we were waiting to order our food, I heard the backseat door open and out went the drunk arse 17 year old. We didn't think much of it at the time and proceeded to stay in line. A minute later the drunk arse returned to my car and hopped back in. (Still didn't think anything of it) So, we finally order our food and wait a little longer to get to the window. As we were paying for our tacos, someone tapped on my tinted passenger side window with a flashlight. Role the window down to see a lovely Auburn policeman standing there. He proceeds to ask us, "who the hell was pissing in the drive through?" Suddenly dawned on us that drunk arse had jumped out to take a piss. So, we were told to pull around and have a chat with our officer friend. He asked if we had been drinking and we said no. Then we all were breathalized. My buddy and I blew right around a .02 and the drunk arse blew a .25. We were all toasted to jail for minors in consumption of alcohol. Since my buddy and I were both 18 at the time we had to spend the night in the tank. The drunk arse who got us arrested was allowed to call his parents and sleep in his nice warm bed that night. Worst part was it was the exact day that the time changed so we had no clue what time it was and had to spend an extra hour in jail. Charges were dropped, but not expunged. There is a huge difference. Just because something is dropped, does not mean it is off your record! Learned that when I went into the Army. Told them I had no criminal background and they said I did. The state of Alabama does not expunge charges. I do believe that Georgia does. Make sure your charges are expunged if you want a clean record.
