Good read. I am already looking for to the 2014 season. With a more favorable schedule, it should be a good year.

Am I crazy for thinking we good be better next year? I know losing renfroe and frazier will hurt but out pitching should be better and pirtle, detz, rea and ct should be better next year.
Either way I am excited about next year

I think we have the potential to be better.

We definitely have a more favorable schedule, which helps. I hope Lindgren, Fitts, and Woody all take a step forward this summer. Unlike this year, we have the potential to have a solid rotation to go along with a solid bullpen.

I think that is the key. If the NCAA does nothing with the bats and balls, better pitching will be WAY more important than losing a couple of bats.

Are the new balls a definite thing that will happen for next season? Or is that just a rumor?

Yep, will all depend on starting pitching on whether we can be better or even as good as this year. Having no pitcher in the final series that could match up with UCLA's aces doomed us. Only Graveman was capable of pitching with them and he wasn't available. Got to have better starting pitching and more people that can do it. Hopefully Woodruff comes back strong, Lindgren gets his head on straight and maybe a Fitts or Will Cox mature into a dependable starter.

I haven't heard anything about NCAA going to the MLB ball, but I've heard many wishing for this to happen. Is there a committee that decides these things or something?

Every sport has a rules committee. I know Clemson's coach has been pushing hard for the MLB ball.

When I push hard, it isn't for balls.

Should we start placing predictions on who Coonass is gonna piss on next year? I'm going with Rea.

Yes, that committee is called ESPN. If ESPN wants the minor/major league balls the NCAA will use them

I have heard the espn guys say that next year the ball will have significantly smaller seams.
