Would you prefer to be associated with RB or RD?

This shite is obscene......, but I'll play along.

My Answer: RB

Look. I've seen the pictures that RDDAWG posted of himself and his lovely wife. And........not that there's anything AT ALL wrong with it.......but IMO, they looked like they were dressed up to attend The ATL Fashion Awards, or some shite like that.........so I doubt I would fit in too well in that scene.

RB, on the other hand, seems like a someone I'd have something in common with.

So.............. I choose RB.

Sidenote: In church this morning, I noticed a similiar phenomenon. Approximately 99% white and 1% black.

Fast-forward......to the restaurant we ate at afterwards, there were plenty of black folks all dressed up........in what I'm assuming were their Church clothes............

And.........There were no half black half white tables of ten. All tables were pretty much all black and all white. AND..........everyone seemed to be having a fine time.

Bottom-Line: It's perfectly natural to gravitate towards people you have common bonds with.

And..................It's perfectly UN-NATURAL to expect otherwise.

I'd agree with that - people integrate to the extent that they want to. Change the above scenario slightly, and reactions will change: walk into a room with a table of nine whites and nine blacks, but the whites are all speaking Russian and the blacks are all speaking English, and suddenly the black table becomes the more obvious choice to join (reverse it if a black were to see a table of whites speaking English and a table of blacks speaking some form of Bantu). Like will usually seek like - it's just that what constitutes "like" is flexible depending on the circumstances.

While I am not sure what pictures you are referring to I'm disappointed in you. Then again, who cares anyway. ONward...

This is a good point. It's not done on purpose but it just happens.

Jefferson.....you mean to tell me that the modern PC little idiots.....the same idiots mind you that spend all of their time surrounded by people who are just like them.....have failed to recognize this simple point about human nature?

Do you mean to tell me that people today, as they have for thousands of years, are somewhat tribal in nature and choose to associate with others who are similar to themselves...either in age , race, culture or social class? And so you also insinuate that these different groups may disparage each other from time to time by names, slurs, etc?

Oh my God...I don't believe it...
