I have followed SEC football and recruiting for 40 years. I also have a lot of training and work experience in crunching numbers.

The future of the SEC is in Texas and along the Atlantic coast.

The schools in between will diminish in importance due to the demographic trends being overwhelmingly against them.

Watch for Mr. Slive to take schools from North Carolina and Virginia as soon as he can due to the shift in population to those states.
