UT returned tickets for the first time ever and to the tune of 3000. Sections V, U, T and S on the visitor's sideline.
Show me where?
It's funny because while they obviously can't fill their own stadium they are claiming to have filled ours

Prove it. Show us exactly what of significance Vandy has won. I'll hang up and listen.

We didn't claim to have filled it, just that we had atleast 1500 fans out of the 4000 seat capacity?

In the panic that ensued as Vol fans retreated east, they left a behind a huge inventory of "corn from a jar" and their ugly women, looking something like "half bear, half cat". But they did not leave behind any telephone bills because "there ain't no telephone bills on rocky top". The corn from a jar has been donated to the local Ole Miss and Alabama fans. The ugly women were escorted to the zoo.
Oh really?

Thats funny, in one of our worst years ever we were still in the top 10 in attendance. Vandy had its best year ever, where are you guys on the list? Oh wait, no one goes to vandy games other than the opposing team.

I did not claim we won anything of National or even conference wide significance (speaking of, when is the last time Tennessee won anything of either of those?) I am claiming that between our two programs, Vanderbilt is on the way up and UT is on the way down. Proof?
Proof

So you are on the way up because you beat a historically bad team? Good for you, Cupcake.
1998. And Vandy? How about just a division title? 10 win season? shite, a win over a top 10 opponent (seriously do not know if this has happened in my lifetime)?

Every chapter of a hard fought war is littered with critical turning points. As Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt surveyed the battlefield left behind by the retreating and demoralized Vol army, he could not stop thinking that appointing James Franklin as Supreme Commander of all Vandy forces represented one of the greatest turning points in battlefield history. Middle Tennesseans will be forever grateful for his service in liberating them from the occupying forces.

It's funny, because while the vandy fans are just....... Institutionally special, the vol fans have absolutely no firm ground to stand on.

I prefer to envision a tug-o-war between Forrest (UT) and Corky (Vandy) from 'Life Goes On'...

So you liken yourselves to Gumps. Makes sense. You guys are like sidewalk Bama fans except you have nothing to crow about.
