Nick visits Athens Tennessee today for a charitable cause sponsored by the Athens, Tennessee Chamber of Commerce. It is the first time this event has sold out. Being just 60 miles from the Big Orange epicenter has led to many complaints and even some threats. Not from me though. For years I have had to watch the pathetic UT caravan roll into Nashville and claim it as their territory. So I am very glad Saban is giving them some of their own medicine. Hopefully, he will win a lot of converts. My only regret is that this event is not in Knoxville itself.

I moved from Nashville to Georgia 2 years ago. I went back this past Memorial Day weekend and saw so many Power T's everywhere I've been. Nothing but Power T's and no Vandy gear anywhere.

I don't like it, just like you didn't like losing to us 4 times this year.

You must be delusional. It is a fact that Vandy gear is outselling UT in the Nashville area this year. It was reported on several news outlets. But I guess you knew this deep down and that is why you moved to Georgia. You just couldn't stand to watch the changing of the guard.

Touche, this is true. What the heck happened to ya'll? Is Louisville really that good?

Louisville is good. We do not deserve to go. But it did not help that several of our players became instant millionaires the previous two days, compliments of MLB. How can winning college baseball games top that excitement? I wish they would change the date of the draft. But make no mistake, we had our chances and blew it. We did make SEC history this year, at least.

Fulmer and Al Wilson couldn't even sell it out last year. Vol fans have given up.

I agree, the MLB does it on purpose and it's 100% about their needs alone. As others have said, it's funny how the NCAA is so worried about basketball one and done's but they let the MLB poach all of our players from high school.

It's more indicative of Nashville's fairweather fanbase. You'll see more Alabama gear than anything else right now. No one truly gives a shite about Vandy.

Oh no man you've got it all wrong. Vandy has taken this state over completely. They're doing shite UT could only dream of!

Oh shite, Vandy fans pulling out the big guns! If only UT had made 49 bowl games to Vandy's 6.

How about we go with the last time Vandy won 2 straight against UT? That was 1925-26.

Great point. Even as bad as we have been, I believe Tennessee is still 3rd all time in bowl game appearances. How many has Vanderbilt been to? 5 or 6?

Oh dear, Vanderbilt will show everyone how its done.

I can't wait for the first great year Vandy has had in nearly a century!
