I thought he was talking about Tyler Cook, a team mate of Tatum's at Chaminade, also in the 2016 class. LINK

Yes Tyler. I think he is a 3/4 year player. Those are the kids we get and our staff is good at identifying. And my ppercentags may be high, I made them with my opinion not off facts. We have to get Cook IMO. We do well in KC. But STL generally speaking puts out more and better talent. Tatum would be sweet but I'm with you. Bryant would be huge, I dont think he is a one or two year player. NBA bigs dont grow on trees no matter their recruiting ranking. But his mother isnt going to let it happen. Thats why I respect the Booker decision, im only speculating but im sure his dad really wanted him here and his mother was pulling for a Michigan school but both stayed out of it. I thinks its petty for a parent to steer a kid based on their own needs. His mother can always move.

Cook is at Chaminade: -60%
Cook is in STL: -20%

Chance he goes to Mizzou: <20%

The bridge isnt burned

You have to make the effort. If you cant get stl kids to mizzou, pull a uab and fold the program

Not at all but this isnt the 80s and 90s.

A coach must recruit first and coach second. You have to do both, if you cant do eeither in todays game, then that coach is worthless.

And if you want to to ccompete for titles you must be willing to manipulate the minor infractions. All these top programs bend the rules.

If doing so concerns you than said person should be content with what we have

Nobody is content, we are in a transition. It happens literally all the time in College sports. Not everyone has a top 10 program and just reloads. It's about getting back to what we had which is a consistent tourney contender every year. KA is in an uphill battle on most of these recruits because he doesn't have a known commodity on the court and most have been recruited for a few years by others.

I think Haith just intentionally sabotaged the program with players like rosburg. It just took Alden too long to figure it out.

I don't think he intentionally did anything. I think he was just a bit clueless. If anything, MA intentionally stopped recruiting, leaving Haith and Mizzou in a bind. Haith knew nothing about rebuilding a program and tried using bandaids in the form of transfers.

I know he didn't intentionally do it......he was just a better actor than coach.

Yepp. He's a house of cards. Any success he has is never due to his own work. If he stays in one place for too long, this will come to light. So he bounces around.

Looks like Blakeney will choose on Friday between MIZZOU, UK, and Lsu.

What do you guys think of our chances?

He's going to LSU. Our only shot at a decent player is Kapitia but he's a major qualification risk. This class is going to be a massive turd, especially if some guys leave as has been rumored. All our recent offers are low 3* and unranked players. This is pretty ridiculous tbh.

Which is currently doing as poor a job developing players as any D1 school not named Baylor (IMO).

I knew there were rumors before about people leaving but thought that was done with Cam. Who currently on the team is rumored to be thinking about leaving? If you tell me Williams or Gant or Teki or Wright I may just throw in the towel.
