Are they ignorant, or just really bad at cheating? It amuses me with a all the talk of Rebel rule breaking with this new recruitment class, when in all reality it's just guilty conscience

It's ok to laugh at them because they were so gung ho on how they don't cheat and AU & TSUN do. Everyone cheats because everyone has boosters that coaches can't control. The difference in a clean program and a dirty one is clean programs get rid of rouge boosters, while dirty ones send their recruits to these boosters tents. While state did turn themselves in, their coach knew about the booster and in a way helped the booster by sending the kid to his tent.

It's terrible timing because its negative press when they don't need it and it does make boosters stop handing stuff out at least for two years while other programs boosters are doing their thing as normal. State will field a decent team for the next 2-3 years, but after that they are fricked unless they turn this recruiting around. Today certainly won't help.

I'm curious as to how many scholarships will be lost, either way, I'm ready for the dawgs to kick it the basement with the wildcats for a few years

Yeah it has a lot of unseen effects on recruiting that are a lot worse than many of them will admit. They are due to go back to the cellar for a long time. Very due.

Friends with Muscles is probably the funniest show on RSR. A gem of a show is up now. They have some writers from AU on there and good God do they hate Mullen. It's hilarious

We really dodged a bullet. We are to much on the upswing to take a step back from where we are. 2014 will be a solid year with much improvement. All of our young players and recruits wil be regular starters in 2014. We will have completed our stadium expansion which will look very sharp to recruits. We have just completed our $80 million football facility. As much as y'all love to speculate and hope that we are pushed back into the cellar, it's unlikely.

Never stated it would. It's about on par with a lot of others in the SEC. I did, however, say that the stadium expansion will be a huge plus in the recruitment process.

It's just a blip on the radar. Now if they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar during probation you can start an As the Pastures Burn thread.
