but it's not YOUR money. Your money (assuming you're a season ticket holder) would be spent watch four crappy teams instead of a potential great OOC home matchup.

You misunderstood the money comment.

Thats money going to the school. The payout getting to a better bowl by having more wins...that money.

Not mine.

I understood your comment... my point was you (the season ticket holder) would be spending money on four crappy OOC games, instead of having one good OOC matchup.... the bang for your buck would be less.

We've had some OOC home matchups over the last decade that would've never happened with your line of thinking...

2009 WVU
2010 Clemson
2001 Syracuse
2007 Kansas State

Those were all exciting/ enjoyable games... and the tix would've cost that same for 1:00pm matchup with Northwestern State.

Yeah, and THAT'S what gets my rocks off, when my school makes more money!

How exciting!

Maybe we could do away with the whole football thing and just have the universities enter a lottery. Each school antes up what would have been their operating expenses for the season and winner takes all! We could have the drawing in, say, Birmingham.

Can you imagine the sheer fun of that? Woohoo!
