If they are going to have a permanent site for the tourney, Nashville is as good a spot as any. I personally think all of these tourneys should rotate around the conference, but Slive clearly disagrees.

Seeing as how Slive has expanded the conference to cover one-fourth of the country's geographic footprint now, you would think he would understand that rotating venues are sort of an obvious solution. A permanent football championship game location is one thing, since by definition its a championship game and the winner almost always plays for the NC, so fans will travel in droves from anywhere for that. On the other hand, fans in Florida and Texas are not gonna travel all the way to Nashville for a Thursday afternoon matchup between a 6 seed and an 11 seed in the SEC hoops tourney first round.
