It's a brilliant solution, and it solves the schedule's inherent inequity. Everyone gets what they want.
As for USC playing Bama, UF, and UGA, bring it. It's tough, but if we want to be players in the conference, what better way than adding Bama to two schools we already play every year, anyway. We've fared pretty well against the Tiders the last several times we've played them.

Did ya think about home and home series? You cant put off facing a team away after playing them at home.
