The missed FGs are unforgivable. I was a freshman and my gf(now my wife) said it was the maddest she's ever seen me.

I know it wasnt all that great, but the 1999 LSU vs Bama game, When Booty tryed to go air born on the last play and got stood up as time expired at the goal line.
It was also my first college football game ever.

Yeah our Lou Grouza award winning kicker missing two chip shots definitely qualifies as a WAOM moment. Probably the most I've ever hated an Ole Miss player, until Koric Neat

Ya and we lost marvin constant and I think one other player to injury on that one play. I feel like half our defense went down in the fourth quarter there.

We were way out of shape in those days.
I just turned 26.

Not sure if better conditioning would have saved Constant. Messed his knee up pretty bad. Don't think he ever played again.

Very true, poor dude, but what a way to go out, hopefully he looks back on that play and smiles now.
Did they have that rule at that time?
Nevermind, stupid question, but thats a tough call to make with 4 seconds to go in the game.

It might be one of the best of all time in the SEC just because of the finish

I'm glad they didn't stop the clock. Dinardo was fired, Saban came in, things changed around here quick.
