1st off, it wasn't cheating when, during the time, the SEC didn't dictate each school's SEC schedule.

2nd off, it wasn't like every year Bama played more SEC games than everyone else.

1966: Bama = 6 games; OM = 7
1967: Bama = 6 games; UK = 7
1968: Bama = 6 games; UK = 7
1969: Bama = 6 games; UK and AU = 7
1971: Bama = 7 games; MSt = 8

It wasn't until 1974, that the SEC instituted scheduling by the SEC. And back during those days, everyone probably wanted to play Bama because it meant you would be on TV.
