There's a sign outside of Star Packaging that has the development of Jackson Ave over the next two years. Could have been up for awhile now, I don't know but looks badass

I'm on the road so can't do a pic right now. It looks about a quarter mile of 4-5 story buildings that will line Jackson Ave. 215 Luxury appartments, 20k square feet for commercial real estate, underground parking, pool etc. It looks very nice

Because THAT'S what Oxford needs, more fricking apartments.

It sounds like its more like Ice House, etc. and less like apartments.

That's the best way to describe the way it looks. Imagine about 4 icehouses all different looking buildings at different sizes, connected to each other. Jackson ave. needs anything nice looking

I've seen some of the plans for this, and they look pretty bad arse. Going up from Jackson to the Square isn't that pretty of a sight really. This will make it better, to where the only entrance into the Square that won't look great is University Avenue.

With Pat Patterson as mayor, anything is possible.

This looks amazing ... I would hope they could do this very quickly because Jackson needs to be revamped a little.
