And all of that is because of how bad we've been since 2000 and how good you have been since 2000.... Eta: the fact of the matter is that we had very equal programs till 2000 and that's even with all of the handicaps we had to deal with till the 70s

LSU much better than Aggies in 50s thru 70s. SWC was private school league. Texas owned it. Please list anyone from SWC to win NC other than Texas after the 40s.See records of Aggies SWC opponents each year opposed to SEC schools. LSU opened season every year vs weak SWC teams, Aggies, Rice, TCU and Baylor. Much easier than SEC.Aggies pd strong price for being good in 90s. On probation 3x. Spared the death penalty.Texas is only SWC team that competed with SEC. Arky was owned by SEC schools before joining SEC and have yet to win a title in SEC.Arky was SWC second best team and was 0-5 was Ole Miss during Hogs best decade ever the 60s.

We went four straight years without a conference loss under Slocum. To say any one team owned it is hilarious.

Ole Miss had some good teams in the 60's Bernie. BTW, Arkansas lost 4 of 4 to them. LSU lost to Rice 3 times during the 60's and beat Ole Miss only 2 times during the same 10 year period, being in the same conference.

Bernie, LSU didn't play any tougher schedule than SWC teams. In fact, during that time period, the only consistent yearly SEC match-ups for LSU were against Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Kentucky...and only beating Alabama once during the 60's. Give it a rest.
