The only truth is that there is a rumor. Why would he leave ASU, he would have to sit out a year. Why would we want him?

He would not have to sit a year tranferring from D2 to D!

Only reason I can think he'd transfer is to have more visibility with pro scouts.

Yes he would Ellitor. Andrew Hatch transferred from Harvard to LSU and had to sit out a year.

otherwise, D1A programs would poach the hell out of the lower ranks. the only time you don't have to sit out a year is if you transfer down a division.

Yes he would. Otherwise, FBS programs would use FCS and D-2 as farm systems. You don't have to sit out if you transfer down, but you do if you go up.

Yep. You are right. The NCAA rule manuel is so hard to understand on some things.
