Our schedule is only considered easy because we're so good. Give our schedule to a mid tier SEc team and it would be hard for them; plus we can't play BAMA.

We did get an easy SEC draw this year compared to some of our previous schedules, just like LSu got an easy SECE draw in 11 . It happens with the rotation.

This point has been made a number of times don't waste your time. When the original permanent opponent as made it was made to preserve great rivalries and not to screw LSU who was an afterthought at the time as they were horrible. Nobody cared when TN was skull dragging Bama. They will troll you will give facts to disprove and they will change the argument it is the same as every other flame that starts.

Rotation went out the window with the bridge schedules; LSU got hosed and Alabama got protected by the SEC schedulers--totally unfair.

Another black eye for a dynasty claim just yet.

You mean the rotation where Bama and UGA were supposed to play last year and this year?

I don't catch your point RE: the 2011 draw affecting the outcome in LSU's favor

LSU's SEC East Opponents in 2011:
Florida
Tennessee
Kentucky

Alabama's SEC East Opponents in 2011:
Florida
Tennessee
Vanderbilt

Kentucky and Vandy had the same record that year

Give your easy-arse schedule in 2012 to TAM last year, and the Aggies go instead of Bama the SEC C.G.

TAM just got a small dose of what LSU has to swallow every year, and TAM lost a chance to an SEC Championship because Bama gets Tennessee each and every year.

The permanent cross-divisional opponent rule is blatantly unfair, and the SEC needs to have its nose rubbed in it every time the LSU faction gets a chance to raise the subject.

Funny you should mention 2011. That was the year we played what many said was the hardest schedule of all-time. Nuetral versus Oregon and At West Virginia OOC.

Thing is the '12 and '13 schedules have nothing to do with a rotation. They were made by the SEC office and from what I have read the lead man on these bridge schedules was a bama grad.

In the last five seasons bama has faced two of the top three from the east once. That season the tide finished fourth in the west. In that same time frame LSU has faced two of top three from the east three times. LSU never finished lower than third in the west in those seasons. It was only once.

This season will make it four of six seasons tigers face two of top three from the east to bama's still only one.

Mark it down. 2014 will be another bridge schedule and the tide will come out smelling like a rose once again.
