By all means, don't be fooled by the look of the defenses that Auburn fielded under the Gene Chizik regime. There is, no doubt, some talent on that side of the ball. To this point they have just been soft, undisciplined, poorly prepared, and terribly coached. I expect there to be upgrades at every position outside of defensive end.

Yep, that was the party line passed out about Ted Roof when Van Gorder took over the helm around this time last year....
