he's a 5* athlete, but a low 4* football player. Would I take him, hell yes. Do I think he's a 5* immediate impact recruit, hell no.

I wouldn't trust any player that flips from Bama while Saban is there anyways. Saban gets them to flip and flip back just to make it look like he actually got them back. He is going to Bama no matter where he flips to.
I would rather get Thomas and not deal with the drama.

I think this is more than likely Bama trying to keep good recruits from coming to Auburn.
Saban has them commit to us hoping it will sway other recruits at that position away from Auburn then flip back to Bama at the last minute when its too late for Auburn.
Last year if we hadn't called Dee Liner's bluff early on, we might have missed out on Adams.
