Probably the $50 or whatever the university hits the students with each semester (and summer) for the "Athletics fee." Hard to complain when basketball and baseball are free to students and FB tickets are $5 each. I suspect students have made small fortunes selling LSU tickets the past few years.

The $50 was the fee around 2000. Perhaps someone can educate us as to changes from the student perspective the past decade.

$50 x 30k students x 2 semesters = $3 million

Even without another $1 million for the summer we are getting close.

There's a separate category for "student fees" versus "school funds."

I'm pointing to the "school funds" Alabama has received in the past four or five years that are totally separate from "student fees."
