This is what I was thinking. Did he get some quick cash out of it or did he just get a ticket to camp and a ticket home?
If he didnt get any money then it makes zero sense to me. He could have been spending that time trying to figure out how to do a right handed layup.

a right handed lay-up in 4 days?? I love Murph but dudes been trying to learn how to shoot a free-throw with his left hand for 5+ years
I do hate to see it though, hopefully someone else will pick him up and give him a shot. I've said the whole time he was at Ole Miss, he should be playing DE. He's a really nice guy, so i hope he's successful somewhere
