WBC to picket Ole Miss football team

I came across this gem earlier while avoiding studying for exams. It seems that Westboro Baptist Church is going to be picketing the Ole Miss football team because its a false idol... see for yourselves

These people aren't a church, they are a bunch of money grubbing lawyers and they know a university has 2 things to make a profit: 1. Young students that may do something stupid & 2. Money. Please don't do something they can make a profit on. If they actually gave a crap about the Blindside, they would have protested it, oh, I dunno, about 4 friggin' years ago.

I've seen some interviews with these people and I struggle to believe that are anything close to lawyers...
From what I've seen, they are unbelievably clouded and irrational. Case in point, this interview where they claim Ghandi will be in Hell.

The founder was a lawyer. I believe his daughter currently practices.

Got ya. I didn't know all that about the founder. I was going only off of what I've seen in media reports, mostly because I didn't care enough to back check what I heard

I could literally argue them down all day... For one I used to be pretty religious so I at least know the material.... And second off... I know they may be lawyers but they must be awful ones... Their arguments are about as good as a poopy flavored lollipop
