I get the old military school tradition and having student-body elected yell leaders leading the yells rather than typical cheer leaders like everyone else - maybe a yell leader will be a female one day, but I would like to have a "pom squad" or some sort of dance team or something pretty to look at that would complement the yell leaders. You want female cheerleaders, not female yell leaders. If a female is elected yell leader (not likely), she'll be decked out in those same white coveralls, and I don't see that as an improvement!

The Corps block is an entirely separate issue. Our AF CT friend says he liked it; I'm from pre-Corps block days and think it is a horrible idea that should die. I'm older and wiser, and therefore correct. But either way, it has nothing to do with scantily-clad women.

I'd have no objection to scantily-clad women on some separate pep squad deal, but I also don't see why that is important other than for TV viewers. In the stadium everybody is way too geared up to yell at the top of their lungs to notice. Unless they're naked. Hey, there's an idea.
