Headsup comparison for WRs? Really? How bout we try something with actual meaning like how they compared against 5 common opponents:

LSU returning WRs:
61 catches, 791 yards, 3 TDs

Bama returning WRs:
58 catches, 893 yards, 9 TDs

Which was the better unit?

Yo sacA. How bout this one?

Before going any farther the numbers you posted for common opponents are not quite the same as what I found.

Common five plus what we did heads up. I really think what we did against each other should count for something.

LSU
77 receptions 972 yards 4 TDs

bama
65 receptions 974 yards 7 TDs

In those SIX games LSU's top THREE receivers had MORE receptions for MORE yards and MORE TDs than any WR on the bama roster not named cooper.

LSU WR corps had better numbers as a whole VS three of the five common opponents and better heads up VS each other.
