Texas A&M will be eternally happy that we are now a member of the greatest conference in collegiate athletics.

No one (with the possible exception of Arkansas) will ever know what we have been through.

However, we are amused at the Rant chatter.

Last year at this time our fellow conference members were in agreement that A&M would be cannon fodder in the first year of SEC action.

This year you have LSU "whistling by the grave yard" by spouting off about last years win, while trying to act brave during the off season.

You have other schools in the SECe (who will never face A&M anytime soon ...no, USCe, you will not be in the 2013 SEC Championship game.....)
mouthing that they could stop JFF.

Meanwhile, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, MSU and Ole Miss are preparing for a great season, like we are preparing for you. It's going to be fun, win or loose.

We love the SEC.

LSU, keep on being LSU.

I don't know why we couldn't ... plenty of others did and will.

But that's neither here nor there. Whoever SCAR faces in the SECCG, it will not be A&M. The odds are well against that happening for a lot of different reasons, not the least of which is that A&M will lose four games this year. So, more than likely it will be either Bama or LSU we will face in Atlanta so yes, you are correct, we will not see A&M until next year, probably at your place knowing the SEC offices and how they schedule.

When was your last real championship game?
Overall Record vs LSU?
Post season record vs LSU?

We'll keep enjoying our "dismal" 10 win seasons.
