Based on a few practices at Bama

Qb is good. Back ups are better than last year but still a dangerous drop off

Oline. Talented but not nearly as good. Has the ability to improve obviously but it's not as talented as last years.

Wr. Might be the best unit I've ever seen on campus

Rb. Yeldon is great. Drake looks slower. Fowler is good. Might see a true freshman be the 2nd back. So I'd say right now it's not as good but deeper

DL. More talented not as good. Missing a lot of assignments but look faster. Stinson is really solid. Ivory is average I think. Pagan looks like he could be really good. Others in the rotation are talented enough but lack experience.

Lb. very good. Devall impressed me. Mosley is fantastic. Hubbard looked good. Ragland looks like a breakout player. Others are solid. Didn't really see any weak links.

Db. Need help. Thin and young. Probably the weakest link. Belue looks the most solid and has gotten better. Fulton and smith look serviceable. Everyone else just looked average.

Safety. Starters are solid to very good. Collins is some experience away from being electric. He and Ha Ha can cover some ground quickly. Both look to have excellent instincts. Sunseri is solid.

Sp. no opinion.

Offense: for the love of god I hope there's a little improvement. Can't get much worse. Jones/Taylor should make a great duo at rb so I don't see the running game declining too much. Maybe a slight improvement at wr but they still won't be anything to write home about. Driskel will be slightly better this year but I just don't see him ever being a very good sec qb.

Defense: tired of typing but there will probably be a slight drop off but I still expect a top defense to be on the field
