A truism, we always pay...one way or another. Most who employ prostitutes are married and would rather not risk being seen or risk an attachment to a girl who might go off the reservation and call your wife.

The main prostitute risks are cops and getting robbed (and disease but you can get that from a girlfriend).

A wife will much more easily forgive you if you paid for sex (she may even think it's her fault for not meeting your needs) than if you got into an emotional relationship with a girlfriend or secretary.

Pros and cons...ain't no free lunch.
