Not sure what it means but he said he was giving me 18 megabytes for a 12or15 meg price. Wtf does that even mean? Is it purely speed of internet or does it involve my cable?

I would think that means downloading speeds for Internet, but lets wait for one of the Nerds to weigh in because I'm not 100% sure.

The word megabytes means more space/speed depending on what it's use for.In your situation it means both and yes it has a lot to do with the cable, So your getting a good deal on that 18 megabytes deal. That means your getting more for both for the same price as a 12 or 15 meg. That's dam good.

How I know I work for AT&T U-Verse.
