Spring Game is Saturday @ 1.
Any of you going? I wish I was, but I've got a family gathering.
Any attendance guesses? Last year we had around 18.5k
I would guess around 15k for this year.

I was going to go and catch the baseball game but can't make it. Florida is playing us this weekend so you could catch a lousy baseball game as well.

I had every intention of going until last season happened. They gotta show me it's a quality product worth the drive, time and effort before I go drive that far to watch a glorified practice. I do wish the product was better and I was going, but it's not and I'm not, though watching the QB's first hand is tempting me.
I'd be shocked if there's more than 10,000. Had there been any positive news coming out of the program, I could see 13,000 to 15,000 and had they won last year they could break 20,000 but they're just on a down hill slide and it's hard to get fans to jump on board when you're going down hill.

Not that it matters that much, but the spring game crowd is one big indication of the difference in atmospheres in the sec and most other places. I went to the UGA spring game this year and it had 45 thousand fans there tailgating and everything. Hopefully eventually Mizzou's can increase at least a little from where it typically is.

I hope so too. They have got to win some games or have something positive happen to start some new momentum for the program. They squandered the momentum from the Chase era and now they seem to have squandered the momentum from joining the SEC.

That's awesome tyler. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the QB's if you don't mind sharing when afterwards.

The year we expected to be as good as UGA is expecting for this year, we got 40k for theh spring game. Sounds similar to me.

really? Man I didn't realize MU ever had that high of a turn out for the spring game, that's awesome. Well now I am hopeful we will see that in the next few years!

I'll have an update tomorrow evening on the QB's DGB, and any other high profile stories

Official attendance: 18,384
A little surprised that many came out. Numbers dropped slightly from last year, but still 18k.

I'm surprised it drew that many. Good to hear.

Maty Mauk looked good, as did Franklin most of the day. Berkstresser didn't though. Not really a surprise. DGB made some big time plays and looked good as did Marcus Lucas and other not so well known players. Defense had some slips, but the offense looked slow at times, more often than not. I'm reallllly hoping this isn't another year like last....
