How? Miles was in year 2 or 3 at LSU when he won the title there. So ALL of the upper classmen aside from juco transfers (if there were any) were saban recruits.

Not even close - Go look at the roster.

First, MOST of the players on that team never played a down under Saban. I don't remember the exact figure but I think it was more than 80% of the starters were either recruited directly by CLM or were redshirt or first year bench riders under Saban so to give Saban that credit is moronic at best.

Moreover, its not like recruiting ever dropped off under Miles, in fact the worst recruiting cycle in the Miles era was Saban's last...
